kind of mysterious and mystic, isn't it? ...like protect their soul, which I think is the riches thing/value in their lives... I like thinking of photography in this kind of way, it's silly in digital era :)
i remember hearing that native americans thought this about photography. it is a curious thing to contemplate...what do we really capture (if at all) when that aperture opens and closes and leaves an impression of light and vibration recorded...where?
